Hello everyone! Well it’s been a while since I last did a blog post so apologise for that, I have been really busy with work and what not and am now taking on two jobs so time is a little sparse right now.
I’ve been meaning to do this for the past month, and I actually went to type ‘October Wish List’ in the title bar, but then realising it’s now the 1st November! (Isn’t this year flying by!!) (“,) I’m at a point at the moment where I’m seeing a lot of wintery things that I love and yet am still too poor to afford right now, so I’ve compiled a little list of things I’m longing for right now, and hopefully maybe at some point I’ll treat myself to at least one of them! So here goes…
Owl Print Peter Pan Top – Next £28
Now this isn’t something I would usually go for but I since seeing a colleague in work wearing it I’ve just loved it ever since. The print is so cute (although the picture doesn’t show the cute little owls off very well) and I’ve really had a thing for peter pan collars lately (probably because they are everywhere!) My biggest qualm about this top though is that I have a thing about oversized things because I think they just make a smaller person look ridiculous and like they are being drowned, and I have a feeling this will have an oversized fit to it may just stop me from buying it. (That and the fact it’s out of stock everywhere!) Still can’t help but have a soft spot for it!
Teal Duffle Coat – Next £55
I’ve had my eye on the coat for such a long time, and even before all the winter coats started to come into store I had said to my Mam ‘I want a duffle coat for winter this year’ so when I saw this I knew it was the one! I absolutely love the colour and the shape of it is flattering, not like some coats where they just make you look boxy and weird. I can already see myself all warm and snug on a chilly winter day in this. The bestest thing the coat though has to be that it comes in a petite size which means it won’t drown me in the arms and go down to below my knees like most coat’s I’ve had in the past. I think for a winter coat it’s also pretty reasonable and it’s the one item that I most want to get in the next month, so I’m saving my pennies as I type!
Navy Fairisle Jumper – H&M £24.99
I’ve been on the look out for a good old Christmas style jumper for a while now and haven’t been able to find a nice one anywhere. I have seen on in Primark recently which took my fancy, until I felt the material off it and immediately knew it would be itch central if I tried to wear it, so I’m finding it harder to find one that nice quality but still a reasonable price. I saw this on the ‘New Arrivals’ section of the H&M website not so long ago and it immediately caught my eye, although when I went to see if I could find it in my local store it wasn’t to be seen, so I’m still in two minds as to whether I should order it just because I’m unsure of whether it will be itchy. I would hope for £25 though that the material would be soft…maybe I’ll just have to bite the bullet and go ahead and order it and find out!
I also really like this cardigan but I’m a little unsure about the faux fur collar around the hood, which I think makes it look a little bit cheap…although I do love the pattern and it looks so lovely and cosy!!!
Black Deer Print Jersey Dress – H&M £19.99
I think I must have a thing for animal character prints this season, because I just think the little deer’s on this dress are sooo cute! I love the skater dress style to the dress, and with the long sleeves it will be ideal for the autumn/winter equipt with a chunky knit cardi and some boots. It also comes in navy with polka dot print on the skirt, but I think I prefer the Black and I already have lots of navy clothes so this would make a nice change. Again I’ve only seen it online, so I’m dubious about what the quality would be like, as £19.99 is quite steep for H&M I thought, but I’m definitely going to try and see if I can spot this in any stores the next time I’m out shopping.
Well, I think that’s everything for now although I’m sure over the next few weeks there shall be tons more things added to the list of things I want but have no way of affording right now. There is one more thing I’m desperately on the look out for and that’s a nice decent pair of black calf length boots, without a massive heel and which is not suede effect because they would just get ruined in the rain…but of all the boots on the high street right now do you think I can find a single pair I like? Not likely, and any I do like are waaaaaaay out of my price range… but I shall keep on looking!
Thanks for reading!! x
